Should’ve been nominated: “Drive
 

Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role

Will win: Jean Dujardin in “The Artist
Should win: Gary Oldman in “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Should’ve been: Michael Fassbender in “Shame
 

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role

Will win: Meryl Streep in “The Iron Lady
Should win: Probably Meryl Streep.
Should’ve been: Tilda Swinton in “We Need To Talk About Kevin
 

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role

Will, should win: Christopher Plummer in “Beginners

Will win: I have a feeling that “Jodaeiye Nader az Simin” will not win this, but don’t ask me who will. So I’m randomly guessing… “In Darkness” (Poland).

Will win: I’m going with “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” for both of these. (But it’s probably gonna be “Hugo.”)

Will, should: “Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Should’ve been: “The Tree of Life

Will, should: “Pina
 

Best Documentary, Short Subjects

Will: I’m totally guessing… “The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom
 

Best Short Film, Animated

Will win: “La Luna” (because I love Pixar and “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” really didn’t do anything for me.
 

Best Short Film, Live Action

Will win: “The Shore,” I guess? I’d like to see “Time Freak.”
